Piazza XXVI Luglio in Udine

A series of illustrations that I painted on location during the motorbike tour to discover the wonderful Italian architectural heritage. This illustration will bring into your home the beauty of Italy, making it unique.

It represents the Square XXVI of July in Udine, where two memorials were built to commemorate to the soldiers of the XX Century Wars. The church on the back is a memorial for the fallen soldiers of the First World War and the monument in front commemorates the ones from the most recent World War.

I painted this original artwork while on location during my motorcycle tour to discover the marvelous Italian heritage. The sketch is featured in the book “Italia Grand Sketching Tour“, available in English and Italian. It is the narration of my tour with the sketches and the stories of all the beautiful things that I saw. 

Materials and other information

The paining is created with professional artist grade watercolors on 300 gr watercolor paper. The painting is perfect for a living room or a bedroom, it comes unmounted and unframed. The quality of the materials ensure longevity, but artwork is best hung out of direct sunlight. The artwork is signed on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Colors may vary slightly based on your monitor, though each picture is as accurate as possible. Paper is handcut and dimentions can vary slightly. The photos are indications of how the work can be displayed.

Orders are processed and shipped within 3-5 working days of receipt of payment, by courier. Shipping times vary between 72 hours and one week depending on the area (times can be extended outside of Europe due to custom). More information on tracking is sent by email following shipment. Orders are shipped to the shipping address indicated in the payment form. Return policies: the shipping is at the expense of the buyer. The refund is made upon receipt of the package.
